FebruHAIRY…

February 1st, 2010 by Lance T. Selleck

From the calendar:

“The exotic VENEZUELAN SHAGUAR doesn’t hunt it’s prey with claws…it hunts with razor-sharp musical hooks. But that doesn’t mean the ladies have a better chance of escape…they’ll always yield to your smouldering Latin gaze and dexterous foriegn fingerwork.”

Mr. February trivia: He wears that shirt every day in the studio.

February is notable for another important date: The birth month of one of our heroes here in Moustacheville…Mr. Burton Leon Reynolds, Jr.

You can almost hear him saying: “Don’t you EFFING look at me.” Sigh.

As late 60’s TV cop Lt. John Hawk, Burt Reynolds said he had two expressions: “Mad…and supermad”. That’s the way it rolls with moustache men. You get the real thing. There’s no prettying it up. Burt revealed all for the famous ‘72 Cosmopolitan spread, and in one act swept away a decade of sensitive, superstyled 60’s mod-boys to clear a space for the REAL male. Hirsuite, shameless and always ready for a cross-continental car race. Not to mention relentlessly attractive to women, and as seen in the film Deliverance, even gets a glance or two from some of the boys. Here’s to you Burt.
