May…it’s a glorious month. It’s a time for men all over to unlock our sheds and roll out the accoutrements of manly summer activity…push lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, hammers, saws, ladders and everything else we locked away last fall (we can’t in good conscience even mention leaf blowers outside of parentheses. Are they even a thing?)

Yes, the month of May marks the ritual beginning of masculine warm-weather endeavours, and with this month we have of course a new Moustache Man on offer. Jared does not disappoint. Brimming with confidence, tackling crushing deadlines effortlessly, always having the right words on hand to soothe a nervous client. Walking with a purpose that attracts the eye of men and women alike…as our smitten Nicole shamelessly illustrates.

Check out Cory, Darren and Mike on the A-Channel morning show the other day. At the end of the interview we presented Kurt with an honorary page in the Calendar, with his face adorned with one majestic crop of man-hair. Word has it that Kurt had a lip caterpillar back in the day, before his friends shaved it off in a bout of late-night revelry. Confucius said it best: Without a moustache, a man has no soul. Bring it back, we say. Let’s see some facial hair on A-channel morning TV!

McMillan Moustache Men Michael Zavacky and Cory Haggart (Febroary 2011 and Dudecember) will be live in the CBC One radio studio (FM 91.5 in the Ottawa, Canada region or online at the link below in the eastern stream) on Monday, February 22 at 8:15am to talk to Kathleen Petty about the Moustache project.

CBC radio is close to the hearts of the Moustache Men, having such inspiring real-man personalities as Laurence Wall and Michael Enright to carry the mantle of the hirsuite male forward into the mediasphere. Now if we could only get Rex Murphy to join us.
